Mobility Cost per Passenger Trip

Definition: Mobility Cost per Passenger Trip measures operating cost of providing Mobility service per unlinked passenger boarding.

 

Performance (December 2023):

The Cost per MARTA Mobility Passenger Trip of $86.31 in December exceeded the forecast by $8.08. This unfavorable variance was due to Mobility ridership falling short of the forecast by 2.3 thousand unlinked passenger trips and operating expenses coming in over budget. The 2024 Fiscal Year-to-Date (months of July through December) Cost per Mobility Passenger Trip exceeded the forecast by $7.90. This unfavorable variance was due to Mobility ridership falling short of the forecast by 20.7 thousand unlinked passenger trips and operating expenses coming in over budget.
